It's good to have commitment and follow through, especially when it comes to issues of safety. Your photo's are cool and definitely from a bike perspective. I hope to visit more areas of northern California as we get to know it better. Going out towards Calistoga (like on my way to work at Safari West) it does not feel bike friendly at all...and not really car friendly either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4073025337475186911.post-71523455417418370442013-04-29T23:59:03.807-07:002013-04-29T23:59:03.807-07:00Good for you for taking this further. I have just recently gotten into bike riding and it is so great but I wish it was more safe! I am really hesitant when I am any where near cars. I would like to see more of our cities become truly bike friendly. Do keep us posted on how this turns out. It will be another reason to visit Calistoga and Napa Valley. The purpose of this blog is simply to shed some light on barriers to bicycle riding in one little (2.5 square mile) town where it could easily be far safer to ride. Just takes the will and a little creativity. We will get there!CalistogaBFChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04737642205994490329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4073025337475186911.post-4573848390740562652013-02-24T18:35:24.796-08:002013-02-24T18:35:24.796-08:00For this reason I also like to go bicycling were t...For this reason I also like to go bicycling were the cars are not allowed. Sorry. I am not from here so I have no idea where this Calistoga is, surely a very small town. Right? I don't know we have a lot of wide open country area in Texas, but we do not want to go riding around in bikes. Cars, yes for sure!! Maybe the heat in Texas keeps us from ever wandering out on bikes? floppynoodleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14548975068925314481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4073025337475186911.post-18898806709935974072013-02-17T17:55:41.229-08:002013-02-17T17:55:41.229-08:00There was a time in my life that I would have love...There was a time in my life that I would have loved to bike around the area. It will be good to follow this blog and see where you go and hopefully you will share some images of places that are not accessible to motorized vehicle traffic.
